ARCH ENEMY To Enter Studio In March

December 22, 2006

ARCH ENEMY guitarist Michael Amott has issued the following update:

"Hey, it's that time of the year when it's OK to get fat!????

"ARCH ENEMY wishes you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

"Looking back on 2006, we did a lot of cool stuff with ARCH ENEMY — it was a year of 'Doomsday' touring and getting out there… We had a great time — most of the time!

"The release of the 'Live Apocalypse' DVD and the awesome feedback from the fans was also a highlight.

"We will be continuing to rehearse through the next few weeks, working on the new songs. We have already written some 7-8 life-changing and ridiculously huge metal hymns; this is all in my own (not so) humble opinion of course! You'll see... :-) This stuff is SADISTIC!

"Totally looking forward to 2007 and all that it will bring, some things are planned like the South American tour (which is going to be so much fun I'm sure!) and the studio time we have booked for March/April. I'm aching to get in the studio and lay these tunes down..."
